 Our activities for children

At Daisy Chain, we offer a large variety of both indoor and outdoor activities.

These include drawing and painting, sand, water, role-play, construction activities, storytelling sessions, music and sing-a-longs.

All children are encouraged to try new skills, as well as developing the ones they already have.

We arrange for outside visitors to come into nursery to extend the children's experiences - Zoolab, Toddlepops, Active Phonics

Further details about these areas and activities offered are available in the nursery and through discussion with the staff members.

In our 2013 Ofsted inspection, the summary report concluded:

"Children thoroughly enjoy their learning and make good progress because staff provide them with a wide range of interesting activities" " Children are cared for by a very friendly, approachable and dedicated team of staff. They know each child well and give high priority to providing a safe and secure environment for them to play and learn"

Daisy Chain has a large secure outdoor play area where children can enjoy safe and supervised play in a pleasant environment.

To the rear of the nursery is a small orchard where the children can develop their understanding of the natural world, and our sensory garden.
