Our Approach

Welcome to Daisy Chain Nursery—where children play, learn, and grow in a safe, nurturing environment.

With over 28 years of trusted care in Bradford, we’re proud to be a place where families feel supported and children thrive.

Founded in 1997 by Claire Heslop and her family, Daisy Chain Nursery began with a simple vision: to create a warm, purpose-built space where children could thrive. Daisy Cottage, once a residential home, was lovingly transformed into the dedicated childcare setting we know today.

Over the past 28 years, we’ve grown into one of Bradford’s most trusted nurseries—proudly rated GOOD by OFSTED and known for our nurturing care and strong community ties.

Why Us?

  • We offer parents high quality childcare, through a happy and stable environment in which their children are able to progress towards full-time education, well cared for and picking up key early years skills along the way.

  • Our day nursery has a highly qualified team of professional nursery nurses - with 7 NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualified nursery nurses, 6 NVQ 2 childcare assistants and 2 nursery assistants ( 4 training towards NVQ 3) and cook/lunchtime assistant -caring for your child.

  • We believe strongly in partnering with parents for the benefit of each child. This involves regular two-way communication, including discussions, activities and ongoing communication.
